About

In 2017, the agency meant to guard the earth and its resources for future generations began dismantling dozens of systems set up over decades in order to preserve it.

I grieve, for myself and for all those who come after us, for what will be lost if we don’t act to stop the plundering of the earth’s resources for our present prosperity and personal use.

This blog is a small attempt to be part of the warning chorus.

I have a long way to go to do all I can to care for this earth. In some ways, I fail miserably as an environmentalist. But I believe that we have been granted stewardship of this precious planet, and I know I cannot just stand by and let greed or apathy relentlessly destroy it. So despite my inadequacies, I’m on a quest to find ways to help.

My concern for this earth began long ago, with pine scent.
